Adventure: Great Meadow Park
I so appreciate the playgrounds & open spaces that Briar Chapel has mindfully created for the families who live here. The ability to walk out the door and be on a playground in mere minutes is a game changer for children, parents, and nannies alike! Nothing flips a sour mood around quite like being out in the fresh air. With so many spaces in one place available for exploration, we often have trouble deciding where to adventure. Such a terrible dilemma, I know.
Great Meadow is one of our tried & true playgrounds in Briar Chapel. It has a little something for everyone; a sandbox, toddler-sized playground equipment, a picnic shelter, and, true to its name, plenty of meadow space to run wild! One of Harrison’s favorite games right now is for me to chase him while pretending to be a spider. Hahaha! Whatever keeps ‘em happy, right?!
On this particular outing to Great Meadow, H thought it would be hilarious to try eating sand…His nanny did not find it quite as amusing. But I still snapped a few pics before explaining how sand is MUCH better for digging than for snacking! I will admit, I couldn’t help but chuckle as he giggled & crunched on his new-found snack. That boy sure knows how to get a reaction out of people because he knew exactly what he was doing. The glint in his eye says it all!
We always have a blast when we venture over to Great Meadow! Come join us sometime if you are in the neighborhood :)
See ya outside!
XOXO,
Sebree (& Harrison)
